The first day of my Journalism 4900 class. Initially it was Telecommunication Production...but of course GSU cannot stick to plan, and now it is called Desktop Publishing & Production. As a journalist in this time, being computer literate is almost ESSENTIAL. Of course we all know how to tweet, and post pictures on Facebook...but do we actually know how to utilize a computer as journalists? This is what the course is about...learning how to produce projects and present them to the rest of the world through media...the most popular of our time being the internet. I feel like this is going to be an exciting, yet challenging course. This will be my first hands-on class and I'm going to make it worth it.
